This file was supposed to be much longer and explain in details why and how we
all love Illuria. I still hope to finish and enclose it some day, but for now
I'll be short:

Noone liked Illuria scenario that is included with Warlords 2 CD. Someone had to
redo it sometime. And I did.
Here you'll find many Warlords 1 great features that were thought to be lost
forever when Warlords 2 arrived. Every side and every city is unique, dwarves
won't ever be produced in elven cities, and orcs aren't likely to tame griffins.
Horse Lords dominate plains. And Wizards are as fast as they should be. Please
send me your comments. I know that my version isn't perfect, and although most
people who played it seem to enjoy the scenario, maybe the next incarnation,
made with your help, will be even better.

Special thanks go to:
Yuri Khvorostyanov (RDTEX information technology company, Russia) who provided
me with Warlords 1 copy (my floppies went bad many years ago);
Barry Brook (Key Centre for Tropical Wildlife Management, NTU, Australia) who
sent me a copy of Warlords 1 manual (but could not find appendixes) and gave me
an idea of giving pegasi and griffins different bonuses instead of intended "-1
enemy";
Steven Bass (?) who had the aforesaid manual appendixes and explained me the way
Warlords 1 bonuses worked, he also gave me a great idea of adding unique stack
leaders builds to the capital cities;
Scott (???) who wrote several great Warlords-related essays
(http://www.tiktok.com/pages/game_addictions/-addict_index.html) that I used in
this scenario without even asking his permission;
David Hauri (Institute for Environmental Studies, UNC, USA) who gave me many
great self-contradicting ideas about how to balance the scenario, he was also
one of the scenario playtesters as the Horse Lord and, most importantly, kept
reminding me that I promised to finish this scenario someday.

Also thanks go to other seven playtesters:
Sir Sirian William Irwin, Storm Giant Frederick Aubert, Grey Dwarf David
Abrahamsson, Orc Jim Panagos, Elf Alexandre Sousa, Selentine Duarte Barrilaro
Ruas and Lord Bane Magnus Goransson (go and check their "Illuria" game on
Remailer now).

And thanks to those many scenario creators who draw pictures for their armysets
that were used by mw now with or without modifications.

Finally, let's not forget Boris Vallejo, the author of "Thor" picture that,
honestly, has looked much better before it got transformed to 256 colors to
become the scenario picture.
