Tournament Warlords -

I have good news for most of you - but bad news for some of you:

About half of the Practice Round games are ready to start play, and many
players in the remaining games are ready too, but some of you are
*not* yet ready, so we will delay the start of the Practice Round by
one more day.

The Good News for most of you:
The Practice Round will officially begin on Friday, August 1, 1997, at
6:30 am (U.S. Eastern Daylight Time, GMT -0400)!

The Bad News for some of you:
You were all asked by your moderators to send a "confirmation" message
via the Remailer, to confirm your place in your game. Unless you have
already sent that Remailer message, YOU might NOT play in your game!
Only those players who are confirmed by the start of the round
(or who have given notice of a vacation) will be guaranteed to keep
their spots.

So: If you have not yet confirmed that you are "all set" for the
Practice Round, YOU MUST SEND A QUERY MESSAGE VIA THE REMAILER BY
6:00 AM EDT (GMT -0400) on FRIDAY AUGUST 1. Otherwise we will assume
you are not yet ready to play! We will not start games with players who
are not ready.

Again, IF YOU HAVE NOT SENT A CONFIRMATION MESSAGE THROUGH THE REMAILER
IN TIME, YOU MAY BE PULLED FROM YOUR PRACTICE ROUND GAME!

P.S. Some players may be moved from one game to another to fill
in holes, too. If you don't send your "confirm" message and you get
pulled from your game, you will still be able to play in the
Practice Round, but it will be in a different game that will start
later. We want all the dedicated players to get off to a good start.

P.P.S. As explained a week ago, it is easy to send a query message to the
Remailer: look up the game password in the "New Warlords II Game created..."
message sent to you by the Remailer (or ask your Moderator). Then send the
following message:

	To: warlords@pixgen.com
        Subject: YourGameName, YourPassword, query

(use your game name, like P44, and your own password, where it says to above)
