I'm a crazy microbiologist, and it seems fitting that I'm leading the spectators this game, because that's all my profession really involves. Anyway, Rhodospirillum was cultured in the couch, grown anaerobically in the dark on left over pizzas spilled coke and scraps of naval fluff (eeeuuuuu!) from the scout whose couch it was. Of course such a noxious diet was bound to cause growth aborations in Rhodospirillum (Rsp.), I mean anchovy pizzas (the scouts favourite) should really be classed as toxic waste. So it was no surprise that Rsp. grew up into a mean red spiral with a pathological hate of small salty fish and an addiction to caffeine. Because Rsp. was the result of a dysfunctional binary fission he never really knew his parents, he cannot really be blamed for assimilating the fattened lazy scout inhabiting the couch. So with extreme malice Rsp. excreted extracellular lipases (enzymes which dissolve fat, necessary because that is what the scout mainly consisted of, due to a diet of Pizza, and coke.) which dissolved his victim into easily photoassimilated fatty acids. Engorged on fatty acids Rsp then moved to Auberts Crypt to take "TV Rights" item. This would ensure a constant supply of metallo trace elements which form the basis of the many enzyme systems that exist in a facultative anaerobic photoheterotroph. Knowing that in order to exist in a world dominated by eucaryotic organisms, prejudiced towards a simpler life forms Rsp arranged for some Giants to be created in "The Couch" in order to assist in the coming ordeal. But as anybody playing from P31 will tell you I'm a little eccentric (read stoopid). So to turn two; Blastochloris (Bls.) was inoculated in the couch last turn on a very nourishing nutrient broth. Unfortunately the original culture was contaminated and this impurity grew to be an "elemental". Such was the animosity between Bls and the elemental (after all it was Bls's food that the elemental was assimilating, and Bls's couch the elemental was dividing in; how would you feel if a complete stranger started binary fission in your living room?) that I had to separate them and send the elemental to Rsp. With the help of rain to prevent dehydration in the highlands Rps was able to assimilate the scout guarding Sapporo. Whereupon the city was sacked to rid the place of pizzerias selling achovie pizzas. Continuing apon this crusade for better pizzas Rps liberated the devil in Mculler's Fort. The devil was then sent on ahead to get a takeout Garmish-P, who were supposed to be a fairly good fast food outlet. However Devils aren't known for their patience and upon being told there would be a five minute wait on the fries the devil crucified the staff and sacked the town. Obviously there is a certain satisfaction in demolishing a burger outlet whose "hamburger" is .95c, and whose cheeseburger is $1.50, and is just a Hamburger with a slice of cheese, but that is going a bit too far. Especially considering the only restaurant which survived the inferno which followed was the one offering plain tofu and Unflavoured Yogurt with all you can drink distilled water combos; still there is much to be said for the fire, and stress resistant properties, plus the all round durability of health food.
