Subject: W2WT: New Rule for Replacing Timeouts (D)

Hi all -

We've made some revisions to the time-limit rules. As most of you
know, if your turn comes up and you run out of timeouts, we skip your
turn, and then if your turn comes up again, we drop you from the game.
It's very important to manage your time well, get turns in quickly,
and avoid wasting timeouts. But sometimes it's unavoidable - and that's
what the timeouts are for! We've made the rules a little more
"friendly" to allow players to avoid using too many timeouts, and to
allow lost timeouts to be replaced:

(1) If you have a serious crisis and can't take your turn for some
reason, send in a query message to the game, and we'll put you
"on vacation" so you don't burn up your timeouts.

(2) If you can't send email at all, you can make a phone call to
a volunteer listed below. Please pick either your own moderator
or else whoever lives closest to you. As long as we hear from you,
we'll put you on vacation.

(3) After things return to normal, you can ask the moderator to
restore your timeouts by reducing your remaining vacation time.
You can "buy" each new timeout at the cost of two vacation days.
