The Moderators' Bible
Everything you could ever want to know as a Moderator.
(And probably some stuff you never wanted to know as a Moderator!)
By Gary S. Best and Bob Heeter; last revised 20-Feb-98 by Bob Heeter
The Moderators' Bible is the official reference page for
moderators, providing links to all moderator resources as well as
a complete guide to the official tournament rules.
Complete List of Moderator Resources:
- Moderator's Toolkit
- Collection of standardized procedures to use in common situations,
including players who run out of timeouts (Lost Players),
and the End of Game procedures.
- The Moderator's Role
- Complete procedure for how to moderate a tournament game from start to finish.
- Remailer Edit Page
- Usually the first place you go when you need to sort out a game problem
using the Remailer! Make this a bookmark if it isn't one already.
- Moderator's Screen
- Special page on the Remailer for Moderators to keep track of important
game information such as vacation days, rules violations, and upcoming vacations.
Add this to your Web bookmarks if it's not already there.
- Reference Archive
- Collection of all Rules Tutorials and other "mass mailing" messages
that have been sent to all players.
- Ten Commandments
- Brief statements of the key rules.
- Players Rulebook
- What the players know about the rules. Very helpful if you need to
remind them of something - just copy & paste from the official rules page.
- Moderator's Guide to the Tournament Rules
- The Moderator's Guide is no longer up-to-date.
Email Headquarters if you have a question.
