Version / Update Info:----------------------------------------------- Version 1: Original ISLES.SCZ (Crystal Isles) created in 1995. Version 2: Isles3D.ZIP (Crystal Isles 3D) released August, 1998. -Added background story and legends due to requests. -Created new shield set compatible with standard color scheme, based on "3-D Gemstone" images for banners, report, map and history elements, and named "Crystal Isles 3D Shields". -Added "razed city" images and added "fortified" images to city set, renamed as "Crystal Isles 3D Cities". -Altered strategy map to more resemble a map, with names of bodies of water, a compass rose, and made "Frozen Wastes" look more "arctic". -Added new 3-D gemstone (green/red) Army movement elements, flags and Item markers, renamed as "Crystal Isles 3D Armies". Increased strength of certain armies (Catkind->forest strength, lizardmen->hill strength, alchemist->city strength, wizard->cancel non-hero stack protection). -Added signposts to Scenario. "Mountainized" one city in Mitakka (Verdicaelum) to balance playability (see reviewer's comments for version 1.0). Renamed scenario to "Crystal Isles 3D". NOTE: 3-D "gemstone" and army icons designed for the Crystal Isles 3D scenario won "runner up" in the 1997 PixelPalooza icon design contest; see http://www.iconfactory.com.
