Hi, this is yet another scenario for Warlords II. Its set on Mars, not the
real Mars, but the Mars seen through the telescopes around the turn of the
century, one with canals and Martians. While I've read all the Edgar Rice
Burroughs novels about Mars (and Venus, and Pelucidor), I didn't use any of
his stuff in the scenario, because of copyright violations. Middle Earth
scenarios have run into this problem.
Anyway, its a fairly short scenario, with only 6 sides and 50 cities. The
easiest side to win with seems to be the Canal Martians, and then the Bog, and
Hill Martians. At least for the computer. Me, as I know the map , don't have
too much trouble with any of them.
The mud terrain makes a pretty good Mars, except for all the pig temples
and ruins. By the way, I used one army picture from Mark Pitcavage's wonderful
Jurasic Park scenario, and a couple from Mike Salt's incredibly politically
uncorrect Babewar scenario.
I also made up several hundred hero names, which is not much fun, and all
new magic items and monsters, plus new army and city sets. The city set isn't
much, but decent enough. The army set is kind of strange. Anyway, I hope you
enjoy it. Let me know what you think, and try making your own scenarios!

Just as I was going to upload this to Compuserve, I happened to notice another
Mars scenario. Oops! Luckily, I had used different names for everything but
the city set, so I only had to change the city name from mars to ares.
