ReadMe 1.1b for Battle Flag, a Warlords II scenario for Macintosh. Vital stats: 65 cities 40 ruins 6 sides consisting of: 2 leader nations (white and black) 4 defender nations (red, blue and orange green) Bob's Armies (http://www.princeton.edu/~rfheeter/w2home/mac/BobsArmies.html) This scenario was specifically designed for the first game of Capture the Flag (see Capture the Flag read me). If you use this scenario for a PBEM game, capture the flag rules or otherwise, please contact the authour and tell him how it went (using the Bob Doleian third person there, sorry.) Many different modifications were made to this scenario with a variety of programs. The driving purpose behind these changes was to create a very balanced conflict between two teams of three. In playing this scenario, you may notice that the southern forces recieve and extra 1000 gp to start with. This was an attempt to offset the number ruins contained in the north. You may also notice that northern forces are land bound for the most part, while southern forces are very flight capible. Reason: the north is closer to the critical temple island, and they need to be slowwed down somewhat relative to the south. Finally, you may notice that no matter how many times you run this scenario, you'll never find any speed items. This is an intergral part of this scenario, the balance I have worked hard to build, could be destroyed by speed items. Speed items are also not allowed in Capture the Flag rules v 0.5b. This scenario is freeware. Distribute freely to anyone, as long as this readme, the Capture the Flag ReadMe, and Bob's Army set ReadMe, are included. Please do NOT distribute modified versions of this scenario. I take no responsibilty for the preformance of this scenario on your computer. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. I have not experienced any problems with this scenario, but that doesn't garauntee you will not. If you do experience any problems, please contact the authour.
